I REALLY love when Piper is expressive. I love little girls who are talkative with big personalities! But that may be because I've never had to discipline them. On second thought....

Easter dresses

 Girls - do you not have fond memories of your easter dresses? I didn't grow up attending church, so I only remember a few... but I love those that I can remember! I was obsessed with Piper's Easter dress this year. I love bows, so this dress was PERFECT. I also love that I have a husband who enjoys taking pictures, so I don't have to pay an overpriced photographer to get what I really want - a picture of my daughter in her dress. That's all. A shed with a broken window and distressed paint in your backyard has to be good for something - right?!

Piper's first Easter

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE holidays. I just love having a reason to celebrate for just about anything, and so I hope to impart that on my children. I want them to have the best memories possible from being a member of our family, and spending time in our home. I hope they take the excitement to THEIR homes, and so on. There's something so innocent and sweet about making a big deal over holidays. So I intend to do just that! BUT, not with presents. Just with traditions, food :) and being together.

Can I get an "Amen" about how difficult Sundays are?! They totally mess with schedules. Not to mention, I have an extra clingy baby who is going to the nursery when she's supposed to be going down for a nap. I'll let you make your own visual about how that usually goes down!

Piper's first baby shower

 Piper went to her first baby shower with me in March.. or April?? I think April. (This is what I get for slacking in the blogging area!) She was lots of fun, and she even had her own place setting. I love going to baby showers, especially now that I am a mom. I feel like I know what new moms need now, and enjoy shopping for them so much. I am sad we didn't get any pictures with Kari, though! She had her third boy, baby Miles. And he is such a cutie!
