well, i've already failed at my blogging promise! but the good news is, i've been busy.
for those of you who don't know, i am officially a stay at home mom. my first day home was when piper turned 5 months old. it has been amazing to spend every waking moment with her. i absolutely love it! this is more of a trial time. money is going to be SO SO SO tight until daniel graduates, so we are being creative with living! if that even makes sense.. basically, no spending money!
back to being at home... if i am being 100% honest, 5 months is a hard age! i'm sure it will change soon. but she's not very mobile, so activities are hard. and i am a "guilt person" so sometimes i feel like i'm not being a good mommy if i just leave her in her baby einstein "around the world" (even though she loves it) or her bumbo. so i need to look up some activities or something. do y'all have any suggestions? i would love to get out more with her when it warms up, but gas is SO expensive!
piper still continues to put up a good fight against solids. i am anxious about her 6 month appointment to see what her doctor says about it. i hope this is normal?! i've been trying several times a week since she was about 13 weeks old. she absolutely refuses it!
