I really love these pictures, but I am also showing them to show you the huge chalkboard I got at Goodwill for $2!!! It was a steal. I am usually jealous of the finds at Goodwill my friends happen upon, but this time I was pleased with MYSELF! I think Piper, and hopefully future siblings, will enjoy this for years to come!
Poole Party
Boy meets girl through prayer team for Campus Crusade for Christ. Daniel always wanted to sit beside Jess because "she smelled good." After being "friendly" for two years, we started dating in April 2006, married in October 2007, and had our first baby girl, Piper, in October 2010. Here's hoping more will join our party soon.

Messy eater
The day after Daniel's birthday, because the
Daniel's Birthday - 5/11/11
I took some shots of Daniel and Piper on his birthday while I was cooking dinner. I can't remember what I fixed for him... something delicious, I'm sure. ;) That's why I need to be more consistent in my blogging! HA! I thought these pictures of them were cute. I especially like the one of their profiles, because I think it shows just how much she looks like him.

Going to visit the Lees
This was before we went to visit our friends - twin Lee girls! They have a boy, two twin boys, and then they had twin girls! They are VERY special to us. I thought Piper looked cute. She has a weird bump on her face, though? It was way past the baby acne stage, not sure what it was, but it went away within the week. Of course, we were having so much fun there, we forgot to take pictures. BOO!
Food Issues
As I may or may not have mentioned on here, Piper had a TERRIBLE time with solids. We started trying rice cereal, per the Dr. Denmark "diet," at 12 weeks. She refused, I thought it was because it was new, and didn't let it bother me that day. But then, she refused again.. and again... and again. And for months and months, she would not allow solid food to go into her mouth. After trying cereal and fruit forever, I decided to try vegetables, and she started to get the hang of it. She really loves sweet potatoes and carrots. Hence, the orange tint in her complexion. :) She still has major eating issues - she has a hard time with table food, homemade baby food, and the 3rd stage baby food. But she is making progress, and is gaining weight JUST FINE. :) She REALLY loves bread, like her momma. And at her birthday party this weekend, she had no trouble getting sugar down for the first time... like her momma!
