Sleepers, Socks, and Daddy's Girl

Most pictures of Piper when she was a newborn were in sleepers. I was a big fan. They were easy to change diapers in, and they kept her warm all winter. I hate messing with socks on babies.

 Not a sleeper, but I wanted to show evidence of why I hate putting socks on newborns!

 And for good measure, because this lady is going to be a daddy's girl if there ever was one. Because he is SO good to her.

Josh and Natalie were able to visit Piper, and we were thrilled! We really wish they'd just move back. :) Their son, Luke, is 2. I think they look good with 2 kids, don't you? And the world of taking pictures of babies goes to a whole new level when they can push up. It can be annoying trying to take pictures of them laying down, or being propped up!

 My dear friend, Jamie, had this sign made for Pipers room. It matches her fabrics and everything! I love everything about it -especially because I think it is something she'll cherish when she is older. I love when people think outside the box for gifts! Here's Piper - showing off her name.
