Poole Party

Boy meets girl through prayer team for Campus Crusade for Christ. Daniel always wanted to sit beside Jess because "she smelled good." After being "friendly" for two years, we started dating in April 2006, married in October 2007, and had our first baby girl, Piper, in October 2010. Here's hoping more will join our party soon.

maybe i LOVE this series...

so maybe i have been absent from not only the blogosphere world, but the internet world.. and maybe just the WORLD in general.
because maybe, i became obsessed with a book about vampires, that are targeted toward "young adults" (but really, read: teens).
and maybe i decided to see the movie with my friend, but never planned on reading the actual book (much less, bookS).
and maybe, when my friend gave me this book, i didn't want to hurt his feelings so i didn't say anything about my plans to NOT read it. and maybe i even told daniel there was no way i would read 500 pages of a book i knew nothing about, and wasn't the slightest interested in investing my time reading something like that.
and maybe one day, the book spirits came upon me, and i opened that book beyond my own reasoning and comprehension; and maybe i finished the first book in less than 24 hours.
and maybe, now i am so in love with it, that i finished the ENTIRE 4 book series in just a mere 9 days. and maybe, last saturday, i stayed in my pajamas until 5:00 p.m. reading one of them.
and maybe i finished three of the books before the movie even came out, and we were second in line to five teenage girls on opening night.
and maybe i dream about being a cullen, and i want to drive daniel's red truck around so i can be more like bella. and maybe i think about edward and bella a lot, and wish they were my best friends (which COULD happen, because i would totally want them to turn me into a vampire, too).
maybe i would like to name my unborn children edward and bella. seriously, just MAYBE though.
and maybe i can't wait for the next book to come to the big screen - or edward's version of the first book... (and maybe i know that there is a version that will exist such as this, because i may check the author's web site several times a week for any updates).
and maybe you shouldn't judge me, because i am almost certain you would love them too.

Jess! I love your sweet blog! I just found it through Kitty's blog:) I saw this entry and HAD to let you know that I share your obsession! I literally lived on caffeine to get me through the work week when I discovered how much I loved these books-It was nothing to stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning even though I had to be at work at 8!! Such a sweet love story.
Miss you and hope you're doing great! Now I know where I can keep up with you guys:)
